CharmPop ‘s Story

CharmPop co-founders Vu Nguyen Thao and her best friend, Bui Tien Phuong both studied at Vietnam National Economics University obtaining degrees in excellent. After graduating from university, they both have a successful career at differient companies.

However, the love for paper art, still, was a common thread between these 2 co-founders. Truly amazed and mesmerized by the detail and creativity of these cards these 2 business partners really want to spend their quality time continually learning about this fascinating art form – just to discover more hidden beauty in them. They then started up their company in 2013.

With help from good friends and family, Handimex Vietnam was officially established by these two young people. Thao’s strength is leadership, professional management, finance and creations in design. Phuong was already a great designer, expertizing in creating and constructing amazing design. This wonderful combination of complementary skills makes this dynamic duo win big markets quickly.

In 2015, Handimex Vietnam officially opened its own pop up card brand: “CharmPop”. We hope each CharmPop card will show receiver the charming of this art, and bring them luck and happiness.

CharmPop hopes to spread the beauty, ingenuity, warmth and generosity of the people and the country of Vietnam to recipients all over this globe.

CharmPop- Behind the name

CharmPop dreams that every card we create will spread the charm of this art and bring luck and happiness to the recipients.

From there, we chose our logo to be the four-leaf clover with a flying leaf. In Christian tradition, every leaf of the clover would have a symbolic and represents one of the theological virtues. The first leaf is for hope, the second is for faith and the third is for charity; the fourth leaf would be for luck.

We are now proud to say that our dreamt has come true. Millions of pop-up cards have reached and touched million of recipients. In other words, We had our faith, dared to hope and got some luck to become today’s CharmPop. The only left leave is charity. We acknowledge that as a community, we are responsible for sharing the burden and helping others. We desired to contribute in bringing these autism children to become more socialized and helping them with treatment classes. We use a part of our profits to support the autism children in a Center for autism children in Nam Dinh city, Vietnam. Charity is the flying hearty leaf in our logo: Spread the love from CharmPop to others.

How Cards by CharmPop are made?

Each card starts with a concept/idea in our office in Hanoi, which is sketched out and digitally uploaded. Our designers refine the concept and create a 3D model of the design. We send these designs to our owned workshop in Hanoi, Vietnam. There, we select the highest quality paper and cut each design as samples. After the samples are approved, the cards are then hand assembled with great care by our staffs in our main factory in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam.

1. Design

We own a young passionate and talented team that always keeping up with the latest designing trend. From building an idea to turning it into a real product, our team members always accomplish their job beautifully, and with a surprising speed. An idea only takes us from 2-5 days to transform it into a complete stunning design, the fastest you can find in this field. We always welcome custom designs. You have a cool idea and want to bring it to a pop up card? Contact us and we sure can help you with that, from changing the color, adding text or even making a brand new design of your own. We offer a great customizing service that will sure satisfy your needs.

2.Product quality:

Paper: We use the highest quality paper imported from Korea, Japan and Italy.

Quality control: Our QC team always checks carefully to ensure that all products meet the standard quality before packaging

Packaging: We pack our Pop up cards with the most care and highest standard: every 50 pieces will be packed in one small box and there are 50 small boxes in one UPS’s 5-layer carton box. Together with great quality control, we actually have not experienced any returning requests.

Price: We provide the most reasonable price for the highest quality products. Since we own our own factory, we can control both producing and logistic. This not only helps us to keep our price reasonable but also bring to you the best quality pop up cards.

3. Community Profit:

The biggest difference as a young company is that we always pay attention to community activities. We have a very close friend in Australia who has an 8 years old son suffering autism. Through his story, we acknowledge that this is not a problem of each family, but as a community, we are responsible for sharing the burden and helping others. We desired to contribute in bringing these autism children to become more socialized and helping them with treatment classes. We use a part of our profits to support the autism children in a Center for autism children in Nam Dinh city, Vietnam. Each card purchased brings a small contribution to our efforts in helping these children. In a near future, we are ambitious about settle up a foundation in Hanoi, hosting classes of making handmade cards to help autism children to learn the art, socialize more and even providing handcraft job for women suffering autisms …
